I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. I just wanted to write and say thank you to you and Lewis Sparkles for a great time at Lilly and Alfie’s birthday party this week. Lilly was really happy to see Lewis, it was a great surprise and when we asked her what the best bit of her birthday party was she immediately said singing with Lewis. One of the other parents delayed taking her son to pre-school so as he could finish the singing with Lewis as he was having so much fun and I had others crying when their mums said it was time to leave!!
Lewis was so good at involving all the children and how he remembered all their names I don’t know! He managed to make Lilly feel so special and whilst she was a little shy to start with, she was glued to his side… It was great to see! My son looks forward to his ukulele class every Wednesday. He was better than me after just two lessons! 🙂 He shows me how to hold and tune the ukulele by ear (no app required!) after each class. If you want a party where the parents can get to know each other, and the kids can be entertained with music and drama, then this is the entertainer for you. The children in the yellow and blue classes have really benefited in all areas of development from the music sessions. It has broadened their imaginations and they enjoy all the sounds and movements each session brings. Our children love Callie Sparkles. She is very enthusiastic when she comes and the children are always excited to see her and what she might have in her special bag this week. She keeps things very varied for the children and every week has something new to introduce to them either by an active game or singing with the key board (in a very high pitch which I can not dream of reaching) or even combining the two and covering music and movement.
The toddlers really enjoy her time too I have never seen them sit so well or so close to anyone before, again I think it’s because she changes things up for them and introduces some variety.
The parents have given some really positive feedback about her too as the children go home with their ‘sparkles’ from her telling them all about her.

Jaz did an amazing job with the food for our daughter’s birthday party. She incorporated the party theme and everyone was so impressed with the spread and how it was all arranged (and healthy!). Just a quick note to say that Lucy was excellent at our Party on the 17th Oct. We loved the fact that she held the children’s attention the whole time; even the rowdy ones. Jaz took all the stress out of organising my daughter’s party. She arranged everything, the cake, the food, balloons and even the party bags! She was really friendly and easy to deal with throughout – nothing was too much trouble – and she was a calming presence on the day. She decorated the table beautifully in a frozen theme and the kids tucked in to the home made goodies. We were very pleased with Chloe and her assistant – the children loved them and they were fully occupied for the whole hour.
