Our daughter has been going to Lucy Sparkles music and dance classes since she was a baby, so there was no other option but to choose Lucy Sparkles & Friends to entertain at her 4th Birthday party. We had a princess theme and Tamara Sparkles came as Snow White and transfixed 15 three to four year olds for a magical hour that went by in 5 minutes. We also had the most superb face painter and the combination of both couldn’t have been more perfect. All the other parents said how amazing they both were and Sophie now can’t wait for next year when we have booked to do it all over again! Simply Superb!Jessica Bailey – Mum of Sophie (aged 4)

I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! Great for parties too. A big Thank You to the Sparkles team for providing such a great service in all respects.
Tamsyn Parry – Nursery Manager, Tam’s House

I just wanted to say a really big thankyou for your and Gemma’s sterling efforts at Sophia’s party on Saturday. It was super noisy and super warm but you still managed to capture all the children’s attention! Brilliant dragon games, a lovely way with the children (even my totally overwhelmed birthday girl was wide-eyed and joining in), limitless energy and you have a truly beautiful voice. I wish I had the same effect when I ask my girls to sit down 😉 We’ll be in touch when birthday season hits again.Jo Graham – Mum of Sophia (aged 3)

My husband and I were completely impressed with our experience hiring Lucy Sparkles. Not only did our daughter and her friends have an absolute blast, but my husband and I were able to relax while Lucy Sparkles completely took over. We were particularly impressed that she was even able to accommodate the “Girly Darth Vader” theme our daughter requested. Lucy was extremely professional, fun to work with, and most importantly, our daughter couldn’t have been happier with how her birthday party turned out. We will definitely be hiring her again!Beth Hungerford – Mum of Charlotte (aged 6)

Just a quick note to say that Lucy was excellent at our Party on the 17th Oct. We loved the fact that she held the children’s attention the whole time; even the rowdy ones. I was so impressed with the Kemi Sparkles at the trial we did. Isla is normally very shy and timid and she was dancing around and speaking up within ten minutes which is huge for her.Laura Ford – Mum of Isla (aged 5)

Our children love Callie Sparkles. She is very enthusiastic when she comes and the children are always excited to see her and what she might have in her special bag this week. She keeps things very varied for the children and every week has something new to introduce to them either by an active game or singing with the key board (in a very high pitch which I can not dream of reaching) or even combining the two and covering music and movement.
The toddlers really enjoy her time too I have never seen them sit so well or so close to anyone before, again I think it’s because she changes things up for them and introduces some variety.
The parents have given some really positive feedback about her too as the children go home with their ‘sparkles’ from her telling them all about her.
Sarah Owen – Owner and Manager, Toad Hall Nursery Group

My son looks forward to his ukulele class every Wednesday. He was better than me after just two lessons! 🙂 He shows me how to hold and tune the ukulele by ear (no app required!) after each class. The teacher explains everything clearly in a way that children can easily understand. Since starting lessons, he can understand pulse, rhythm and pitch, and is more interested in music, singing and dancing. I am very very happy that my is learning ukulele and how to feel, understand and enjoy music with Lucy Sparkles & Friends.Zuzana Gruner – Mum of Tobias (aged 7)

Lucy Sparkles & Friends’ Interactive Livestream Music classes have added colour to our daily lives! My daughter has learnt to appreciate various aspects of music, drama and dance, whilst keeping safe at home. We’ve learnt many unique tunes and dances, which we sing and perform on a daily basis. I’m grateful because the classes have helped my daughter to continue to develop her music and language skills, even during the pandemic. Rebecca Chen – Mum of Lisbon (aged 21 months)

I just wanted to say that Jodie Sparkles was totally brilliant today. Everyone said how entertainers often don’t work out as they can’t hold children’s attention. Not so with Jodie! She had the little ones captivated and everyone thought she was fab. Mummys and little ones alike. Thanks so much!Jo Tauscher

I just wanted to write and say thank you to you and Lewis Sparkles for a great time at Lilly and Alfie’s birthday party this week. Lilly was really happy to see Lewis, it was a great surprise and when we asked her what the best bit of her birthday party was she immediately said singing with Lewis. One of the other parents delayed taking her son to pre-school so as he could finish the singing with Lewis as he was having so much fun and I had others crying when their mums said it was time to leave!!
Lewis was so good at involving all the children and how he remembered all their names I don’t know! He managed to make Lilly feel so special and whilst she was a little shy to start with, she was glued to his side… It was great to see! The singing was lots of fun and the children all had a great time.
Please thank him for us, and thank you for arranging it all.Kelly Hunt – Mum of Lilly and Alfie

My daughter had a great Paw Patrol themed party in Oct 2016. Lucy herself was the entertainer and she came dressed as Ryder from the cartoon, so the kids were so excited when they saw her. She managed to keep 30 kids (ages ranging from 3-5) entertained for almost 2 hours – all the parents got to sit down and relax, enjoying a drink and some food, whilst knowing that their children were completely happy. If you want a party where the parents can get to know each other, and the kids can be entertained with music and drama, then this is the entertainer for you. Lucy and her team were extremely helpful and friendly and I would definitely hire them again.Diana Squires – Mum of Gracie (aged 5)

Out of all the baby classes we go to LS is my baby’s favourite. Sometimes he gets sensory overload in other classes and tends to shut down but LS is just right the amount of song, interaction and movement. He loves every minute of it and is now starting to get excited when he recognises the venue! We’ll definitely be booking back to back terms if we can. Dominique – Mum of Julian (aged 6 months)

Scarlett is really enjoying your musicianship lessons. She sang about 4 songs you’d been doing in the class last night and they were (mostly!) in tune and to the rhythm. I couldn’t believe it! So thank you for being such as excellent teacher.Jennifer Moore – Mum to Scarlett (aged 6), SE22

Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. He will go out of his way to ensure the children in his care are safe and secure at all times. Ben would be an asset to any nursery class. He conducts himself well in his duties within the setting and is professional, trustworthy and beyond reproach.Helen Wiffen – Nursery Manager, The Park Gardens Nursery School

As well as providing activities through music and movement to enrich the children’s experience and development here at nursery, Harry Sparkles brings a real energy to the building. Terribly talented with the array of instruments he can play from saxophone to guitar (to name just a couple!), Harry is the most enthusiastic and animated person I know. He’s our answer to Dick van Dyck and our week wouldn’t be complete without him.Tamysn Parry – Montessori Directress/Owner, Tam’s House

In fact one of the boys enjoyed it so much that his mum booked Lucy for a pirate party the next day!Amanda Osborne – Mum of Lauren (aged 4)
