Ben Sparkles has been with The Park Gardens Nursery for more than a year as a peripatetic singing teacher. He takes the sessions very seriously and is able to manage children of different ages in groups of twelve. He uses a variety of instruments, a parachute and lots of visual aids. Some of the songs are original and they are mixed with familiar ones. He has an excellent record of attendance and is always punctual.
Ben always shows care and commitment in all his work with the children and in turn they love having him here. My daughter had a great Paw Patrol themed party in Oct 2016. Lucy herself was the entertainer and she came dressed as Ryder from the cartoon, so the kids were so excited when they saw her. She managed to keep 30 kids (ages ranging from 3-5) entertained for almost 2 hours – all the parents got to sit down and relax, enjoying a drink and some food, whilst knowing that their children were completely happy. If you want a party where the parents can get to know each other, and the kids can be entertained with music and drama, then this is the entertainer for you. We had a Lucy Sparkles party for my daughter’s birthday and it was one of the best children’s parties I have ever hosted. The ages of the children ranged from 3 years to 7 years and they were all transfixed for the whole time. Our children love Callie Sparkles. She is very enthusiastic when she comes and the children are always excited to see her and what she might have in her special bag this week. She keeps things very varied for the children and every week has something new to introduce to them either by an active game or singing with the key board (in a very high pitch which I can not dream of reaching) or even combining the two and covering music and movement.
The toddlers really enjoy her time too I have never seen them sit so well or so close to anyone before, again I think it’s because she changes things up for them and introduces some variety.
The parents have given some really positive feedback about her too as the children go home with their ‘sparkles’ from her telling them all about her.

Lilly was really happy to see Lewis, it was a great surprise and when we asked her what the best bit of her birthday party was she immediately said singing with Lewis. One of the other parents delayed taking her son to pre-school so as he could finish the singing with Lewis as he was having so much fun and I had others crying when their mums said it was time to leave!!
Lewis was so good at involving all the children and how he remembered all their names I don’t know! He managed to make Lilly feel so special and whilst she was a little shy to start with, she was glued to his side… It was great to see! The singing was lots of fun and the children all had a great time.

Sarah Sparkles did a really fantastic job at Sam’s party on Saturday. She was prompt, well organised, polite and most importantly the children had a really great, piratey time. Thea and her friend Emilia had a wonderful ‘Out at Sea’ fifth birthday party. We were amazed at how Anna Sparkles kept all 30 children fully involved and captivated for a full hour. We have been to entertainment parties before where it has been difficult to hear, but Anna’s voice carried easily. The party organisation and communication was all very friendly and professional. I run a little Montessori nursery in North London and the highlight of our week is our music class with one of Lucy’s friends, Harry Sparkles. The children are completely captivated for the entire session! Harry brings such enthusiasm and energy into the room and is so personable he is able to get the shyest of little beans to join in. Armed with his guitar, saxophone and clarinet, as well as a bag full of props, the children have learned so much. We have had to rotate the days that he comes so everyone can have a turn! Great for parties too. A big Thank You to the Sparkles team for providing such a great service in all respects.
